JOB SUMMARY
Semi-skilled and trained employee that can perform the following duties with supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect equipment & tools to make sure they are in proper working condition for safe operation, lubricate as required and report any needed repairs to the mechanic or foreman.
- Read blueprints and navigate through the prints in order to preform electrical task as directed by the foreman.
- Bend and install electrical conduits properly as directed by the foreman.
- Install all areas of electrical systems except distribution/termination under the direction of the foreman.
- Adhere to code requirements related to their tasks as directed by the foreman.
- Inform Electrical Foreman or Journeyman of job progress, problems, and issues.
- Follow and observes safety and security procedures.
- Consistently at work and on time.
- Follows instructions, responds to the foreman’s direction.
- Fills out and turns in all required paperwork (timecards, job sheets, safety sheets, etc.) accurately and on time.
- Committed to working whatever hours, shifts, or locations are necessary for the success of the project (within reason and with appropriate notification).
- Other duties as assigned by the Electrical Foreman.
